Background
Born and raised in Iran. I completed my B.Sc. degree in soil science, focusing on different aspects of soil sciences and soil-plant-water relations, with prominent experiences in doing soil and plant analysis with various analytical instruments and devices. Later, interested in advanced knowledge, I decided to pursue agricultural engineering-soil science as a research assistant in the Department of Soil Science at Isfahan University of Technology, Iran.
Previous Research work
Collaborating with professionals from various fields on interdisciplinary projects helped me to have a deep understanding of the soil, plants, and nutrients as the main limiting factors for sustainable food production and achieve professional experiences in the field of soil and plant science, especially the nutrient status of the soil and plant tissue under restrictive conditions such as chalky soil, soil- plant- nutrients-water interactions, soil characterization, and management. In my recent research work, I focused on water and nutrient use efficiency, combining experimental soil and plant analysis, satellite data, and modeling to optimize irrigation decisions and nutrient management.
