Garrett is a graduate student pursuing his master’s degree while studying interactions between cover and cash crops, while seeking to understand nutrient leaching that accompanies such systems in Illinois Agriculture. Garrett graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Crop, Soil, and Environmental Systems with a minor in Agribusiness Economics from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Aside from his studies at SIUC, Garrett works on his family’s centennial grain and livestock farm in Noble, Illinois with his family.
